Information in movement

Blocking, eyelines and the order in which information enters a frame can make a mystery legible before dialogue explains it.

Sequence creates inference

A cut can imply continuity, compress travel or conceal an interval. Analysis records what is shown before judging what it means.

Visual evidence protocol

These fields are fixed before the remaining visual-analysis ledgers are populated.

Costume observations

Record character, episode, scene boundary, garment category and only those colours or materials that a stable or licensed reference supports. A change is descriptive evidence; symbolism requires an attributable creative source.

Episode colour palettes

Record the authorised source, display or file conditions and sample points. Compression, grading, ambient light and screen settings can shift colour, so promotional thumbnails and memory are not palette evidence.

Title sequence

The official BAFTA craft record supports the credited team. Shot order, transitions and motif claims remain a separate playback task, described in words without reproducing programme frames.

Current stateMethod published; episode observations still .No costume change, palette or title motif will be presented as intentional merely because it appears visually plausible.

Evidence rule

Series announcements establish broad responsibilities; episode credits establish individual attendance. Individual craft claims require an attributable source.
