Permission and credit rules

Artwork must be safe to display and honestly described.

Ownership

The submitter must own the work or have permission to offer it for display.

Labelling

AI-assisted work is accepted only when disclosed. Programme stills, copied key art and misleading actor likenesses are not accepted.

Display permission

Publication requires permission to display the work, the requested artist credit and a way to request removal later.

Rights and removal

A clear route for concerns

The Casebook is independent and unofficial. A separately labelled travel section is being prepared for possible affiliate funding; no paid links are active yet. Programme names and elements remain the property of their respective owners.

Identify the material

Give the page address, describe the image or passage, and explain whether you are the artist, contributor or rights-holder.

Two-working-day acknowledgement

A credible rights concern will be acknowledged within two UK working days. Material may be temporarily removed while ownership, permission or context is checked.

Recorded outcome

The material will be removed, relabelled, credited or restored as appropriate, with a material correction recorded in the Editorial Record.

Current route: send rights concerns to webmaster@theludwigcasebook.co.uk. Credible concerns may trigger temporary removal while the evidence is reviewed.
