The venue and its history
The Coach & Horses is a public house at 22 High Street, Rickmansworth. Its building is Grade II listed. Historic England dates the structure probably to the late 16th or early 17th century, with later extensions and a 19th-century brick frontage. The listing describes surviving timber-frame evidence, chimney stacks, an interior beam and an inglenook. A protected historic building is not itself a television attraction: it remains a working pub.

What is known about Ludwig
Find That Location reports that the Rickmansworth Coach & Horses appears in Series 2. Three Rivers District Council separately recorded filming for an unnamed British TV series on 1 September 2025 in the Talbot Road High Street car park opposite the pub, with a Bury Lane closure later that day. That notice does not identify Ludwig or establish that cameras filmed inside the pub. A specific episode, scene, interior and shot match remain unverified. We therefore do not attach this venue to an episode guide yet.
