Biography

From ensemble parts to Mary Bennet

Ella Bruccoleri trained on the Oxford School of Drama’s One Year Course, graduating in 2017. The school’s career review traces her screen work from Sister Frances in Call the Midwife to the lead role of Mary Bennet in The Other Bennet Sister. The school also identifies her as Ali Day in Passenger, Miss Barragan in Bridgerton, and a performer in Extraordinary and Bookish.

Her Ludwig appearance is a guest role: British Comedy Guide’s Series 1 Episode 3 cast record names her as Megan Rowlands. This page avoids an inferred account of the character beyond the published cast listing.

Selected credits

Television, film and theatre

BritBox’s 2026 announcement identifies Bruccoleri as Mary Bennet in the ten-part The Other Bennet Sister. ITV lists her as Ali Day in Passenger. Her drama school documents Lesley Brown in Joy, Alba in Polite Society and Rebecca in Extraordinary.

The school’s February 2026 alumni update reports her in The Virgins at Soho Theatre. These are selected credits rather than a complete, independently reconciled film, television and stage ledger.

The school’s graduate record specifies its One Year Course and a 2017 graduation year. No separate qualification, coach or additional training is asserted without a source.

Awards and recognition

Personal honours under review

The broadcaster and drama-school sources checked for this draft do not establish an individual award or nomination. No award for a programme in which she appeared is represented as her personal win.
