Biography

From stage training to television

Rory Douglas-Speed plays Tristan Price in Ludwig Series 2 Episode 2, according to the published episode cast list. Edinburgh Napier University’s 2016 alumni account says he graduated from its Acting for Stage and Screen course in 2014 and then took the role of Joel Dexter in Hollyoaks. This establishes a dated route into a major television part without relying on private biographical claims.

The university also records his earlier stage work as Sick Boy in a production of Trainspotting. A full screen and theatre chronology still needs a production-by-production audit.

Stage and voice

Trainspotting and voice work

Edinburgh Napier identifies Sick Boy in Trainspotting as a stage role before his first major television part. Voice Squad maintains a voiceover profile under “Rory Douglas Speed,” listing a Scottish voice, commercial work and studio recording. The profile is a voiceover route, not proof of representation for all acting work.
