Biography

Professional overview

Josh Bolt is a screen actor from Halewood, Liverpool. In a 2019 first-person interview, he traced his start to school drama and a small role in Much Ado About Nothing at the Liverpool Playhouse. He said that YULA Drama School led to his first feature, The Be All and End All, and that casting director Nina Gold subsequently cast him in Nowhere Boy.

His work has moved between family drama and comedy: he played Raff in Last Tango in Halifax, Rob Dawson in Benidorm, and Dunbar in Catch-22. Bolt discusses the latter two roles in the same interview; producer Lookout Point also lists him in the Last Tango cast. His screen-credit listings also include Just Henry, Masters of the Air and Ludwig; individual role and year details need reconciliation against production or end-credit records.

This biography uses Bolt’s own recollections for his early career, not as independent proof of every production credit. Personal measurements and private details are not inferred.
